not sure about carry on, but u should be able to check it in with ur luggage no
problem, shipping for sure should be ok. One cube should be enough to boil water
they're supposed to stay lit for 15 minutes if I remember correctly. They're not
expensive u should just go get some and try it out before u leave. They are
heavy though if ur carrying enough to cook with for say seven days, two times a
day

Couple of questions:
How much water will one of the Esbit cubes heat to boiling? Using a typical
Sierra evening in the summer as a baseline.
Can you "put out" a cube (and how is that done)?
Are the Esbit cubes readily available? Can they be shipped? Carried on an
airplane?
