[pct-l] Halfmile's Trail Notes

My maps have a bunch of notes and other trail information on them, so
yesterday I published what I am calling Halfmile's Trail Notes.

Basically it's the notes and other text from my maps in a
databook-style format. Using Adobe Acrobat's "booklet printing"
function they can be printed compactly.

The information should be useful for hikers using a smartphone or GPS
much of the time, or perhaps for hikers using other kinds of PCT maps.
If you are using my maps, you probably won't need the Trail Notes this
year because my maps already contain this information.

I hope is that enough hikers will send me updates during or after
their hikes so that the Trail Notes can become a supplemental guide to
my maps.

Currently I have Trail Notes through California ready. Oregon and
Washington will be delayed by some hiking I will be doing and the
kickoff, but they should be ready in a few weeks.
