I love my Marmot Driclime windshirt. I wore it once on a rainy day hike. It wet through in less than an hour. It was warm enough but I changed into my rain jacket.

it is NOT waterproof, but the waterproof & breathable do not really go together.

For the PCT, does one need both a Marmot DriClime Windshirt AND a
Marmot Precip Rain Jacket in their gear list?
In reading Yogi's PCT Guidebook Planning Guide, I see that the Windshirt
is a favorite item of many. Likewise, I love mine.
I suppose both items are similar for windy conditions. But for rainstorms?

Thanks,
