Either solid-fuel tablets (Esbit) or small pressurized canister stoves would
be decent choices.  I've seen several thrus use Zip stoves or other
fan-assisted woodburning stoves, which I think are neat but probably run
afoul of fire regulations.  White gas stoves would be pretty much last on my
list.
