A while back, there was a PCT video I saw that tracked some hikers
from South to North

in a So-Cal interview, the hikers were totally into the their gear
choices, offering that THEIR PERSONAL choice was best and giving
reasons.

In WA, the hikers were asked about their gear, and they pretty much
said, 'whatever works for you is cool, we all have our preferences, no
big deal....... Now lets talks about something that really
matters..... FOOD?"
