[pct-l] Lost on the JMT: Reds Meadow southbound

Good morning, Steve,

I’ve noticed the same signing phenomena in most of the Nat. Parks.  I
speculate it’s caused by one of several things:  1) Maybe the NPS really
doesn’t recognize that there can be anything as worthy as their own park,
or, 2) they may have the sanctimonious believe that no-one would possibly be
out there hiking “their” trails without one of their handy-dandy tourist
trail maps, or, 3) it could be that they just don’t want anyone else’s signs
on their turf, or, 4) “regulations” forbid placing any but approved NPS
signs on NPS turf.



Regardless, I think the lack of PCT signs is petty and unproductive.
