Halfmile has arranged for a print shop in Portland to laser-print the entire set on 8.5" x 11", front and back.  These are less vulnerable to water smearing and weigh 1/2 as much as printing on one side only.  With shipping, it was  $90 .  Worth every penny.

Subject: [pct-l] Maps

I plan to take a combination of maps and guidebooks on my 2011 thru hike.  I plan to use Halfmiles maps (Thanks Halfmile!), however, I do not think I'll need to print all of the maps.  My questions is are there areas where the trail is not marked where topo maps would be helpful?

Thanks,

Dan
