For a classic book detailing the earliest history of the PCT and a 
description of a route from Alaska to Patagonia, get this classic book while 
you can. I've not seen many of these, but us old PCT historians all already 
have a copy.

Who the hell is Walt Hazard? I've got a 1946 copy of Pacific Crest Trails 
with the pink and green cover that is written and signed by Joseph T Hazard. 
A good book for PCT history hounds, but a tuff one to use as a guidebook.
