[pct-l] Brown Bear Killed By Car

Driving up to Santa Maria this morning, I saw a dead brown bear on the side of the highway just north of Buelton. Hmm, he must have been mighty thirsty to come that far down out of the San Rafael Mtns to look for food and/or water! In my 20 years or so of coming up here, I've never seen a bear anywhere in the coastal ranges.


A bit off topic, I know, but it kinda fit in well with the "Man killed by rattlesnake" topic.
