Looks like those in the High Sierra will be feeling a change in the weather starting Saturday with an increasing chance of thunderstorm activity followed by a chance of snow Sunday night on with the temperatures dropping into the 20's and daytime temps. rising only up into the 30's.

We hope everyone out there will be prepared for this. At this time of year weather changes like this are not uncommon. The good part is that the snow doesn't stay around for long afterward as temperatures typically rebound, the sun comes back out, and Fall hiking continues on through October. But anything is possible.
