24 ounces? A lot of spare batteries can be carried and still weigh less.

Subject: [pct-l] Solar chargers

There has been some discussion about solar chargers in the past. I
thought I would pass on some info about this new one, which got a brief
writeup in PC World as one of the best innovations from the Consumer
Electronics Show.

It's the Solar Components Joos Orange travel charger. PC World says that
Solar Components claims that the Joos Orange converts 1 hour of
sunbathing time to 2 hours of cell-phone talk time, that it can charge
devices 3.5 times more quickly than competing solar chargers, and that
it's tough enough to withstand drops or a dip underwater.

Here's a link to the Joos Orange tech specs:
http://www.solarjoos.com/tech-specs/
It weighs 24 ounces and is waterproof.
