[pct-l] ADZ Strider's Welcoming Speech

This year at the ADZ I made a fervent pitch in my welcoming talk for those hiking in recent years to consider what and where they might be 30 plus years after hiking and whether they will consider giving back to the community like so many of us old guard have done. Does anyone happen to have taped/filmed this?  ALDHA-East, ALDHA-West and the ADZPCTKO might like to have a copy for promotional purposes. 


BTW, the new president of ALDHA-East says membership has dropped massively to around 700 members and that they only had about 200 people attend their gathering this year and that rebuilding it is painful with too few stepping up to help run it.


YOU, the trail community, show your passion for the trail and the community here every day.  Find a way to give back a bit more than the simple opinions requested here.  Put a few of your actions where the passion of trail flows through your veins.
