Denis,

In regards to the PCT:
Southern Sierras - Walker Pass to Mammoth
Central Sierras - Mammoth to Lake Tahoe
Northern Sierras - Lake Tahoe to Etna

Or at least as I understand it.

Subject: [pct-l] Snow pack in California

Can anybody give me an approximate definition of the terms North, Central and South as used on the Snow Water Content graphs at http://cdec.water.ca.gov/cgi-progs/products/PLOT_SWC.2010.pdf ?

I'm about to embark on the forth segment of my long-term section hike of the PCT. I started from Kennedy Meadows in 2007 and have made it to Woods Creek so far, but I don't know if that is Central or North on this web page

regards

Denis Stanton
