[pct-l] Update on VVR's opening for 2010

Hi everyone,

We just found out that due to a late season snow storm, the road to VVR 
(Kaiser Pass Road) will not be open for Memorial Day.  We anticipate 
seeing it open some time during the first week of June.

This means that nobody can come in on the road (other than staff from 
VVR, Muir Trail Ranch, and Mono Hot Springs) - so if you were going to 
have friends/family meet you on Memorial Day, you'll need to make 
alternate plans.  The Forest Service will actually cite anybody coming 
in on the road before it officially opens.

Of course, if you happen to hike in to VVR before the road is open, 
we'll do our best to help you (provided our staff is there).

Sorry for the inconvenience - hopefully nobody was expecting to pick up 
a package or resupply on Memorial Day!
