Acorn trail to wrightwood covered in snow. Many Pct hikers hiking to  
hwy2 and hitching to Wrightwood. Snow annoying and time consuming.  
Snow Mainly from Acorn trail jct to Hwy2. Snow in shaded canyons.

About 1mile North of Vincent Gap up to Mt Baden Powell difficult snow  
begins. Very time consuming. Lamel Spring nicely marked with sign at  
switchback. Spring flowing nicely.

Snow continues past Mt Baden Powell,  mt ridge has little snow. Some  
slopes are very exposed. Difficulty similar to San Jacinto mtns. It  
was very difficult to kick steps in the morning hours.

Little Jimmy spring flowing. Snow patches continue to about mile 385.7.
Just stopping a little before Islip Saddle. Detour poorly marked at  
saddle.  Verify with detour map.
