Here's a secret I learned after a while on the PCT. Few hotels are  
worth it. Get a hotel if you are injured, sick or otherwise  
absolutely need the 4 walls. But other than that, stay away. Billy  
Goat is right about this. He knows. I learned from him. Same goes for  
campgrounds on weekends. If you want a truly restful stay somewhere,  
take a zero in your tent.
