That should be the beginning of the (passable to good) time for hiking that
area. August is the down right best. Weather is the best, rivers are fairly
low, snow's pretty much gone (except on the north side of some slopes),
flowers are blooming and you will be meeting SOBO who can give you the best,
first hand, from the horse's mouth condition of what you're heading into.
