Just added some info about water along Aliso Canyon Road:

" There is currently water flowing in Aliso Creek. You can reach the creek
where there is a bridge. Also, if you continue on Aliso Canyon just past
Avenue Y-8, there is another spot where Aliso Creek is currently flowing.
Or, if you don't want to access the creek, you can get water at Blum Ranch
(31880 Aliso Canyon Road). There is s signed (short) access road to the
ranch's packing shed. Blum Ranch is open to the public seven days a week
during the day, selling nuts, honey, and fruit in season. The ranch owners
would like to have the hikers ring the bell at the packing shed (you'll see
it)."

One other thing to note is that according to hikers who have arrived here
already, there are NO closure signs on the PCT after the Yellow-Legged Frog
detour. Hikers who did the Sheep Fire detour, arrive in Wrightwood, and
hike north on the PCT from there are not finding ANY closure signs, and
several of them have wound up hiking in the closure unintentionally (not
everyone is tuned in to the resource information we are). Unfortunately,
the potential $5,000 fine for individuals ($10,000 for groups) could apply
whether you intended to be in the closure or not.

Subject: [pct-l] Station Fire detour?

Hi All,

I've looked high and low for the Station (not Sheep) Fire detour in Section
D but to no avail. Any news? Aren't some folks getting close to Big Bear
already and might need this info?

Thanks, Laura
