[pct-l] Warner Springs theft

These responses should be forwarded to Sugar Momma directly as she indicated
that she is off list. Please bear in mind the bad weather that no doubt
exacerbated her reaction. I would like to point out that Patti is hiking as
a sponsored hiker in support of cancer victims this year and, in addition,
she had her hair cut off at KO as a donation for those undergoing
chemotherapy.

I think her reaction is understandable, if strongly worded, and no doubt
wouldn't have been sent if she had thought twice. True, it is a great
service by WS and she should have probably not imposed and then complained,
but then if such packages are accepted they should be kept secure and not
open to the general public, or even general hiker trash. Putting them out
next to a hiker box invites confusion as to whether a hiker has abandoned
the attempt and donated the box; I assume that this is what happened.

When confronted with apparent malfeasance, assume misfeasance instead.
