so the 907's had a great tread and an SL-1 last which when you got the size
2E you had a great big toe box, the 908's had the SL-1 Last but they put a
thinner tread on it, the 909's are the same, the SL-1 last with the thinner
tread. Then they came out with the 910's where they went back to the better
tread but they put it on the PL-1 last which makes the shoe fit snugger and
with a smaller toe box. great for runners maybe but hikers lose out with the
smaller volume shoe.
