 ...to let hikers know there is someone up in northern California to help with transportation. I live in a community called Lake Shastina about 7 miles north east of Weed, which is 7 miles from Mt. Shasta. I can generally help with transportation and spending the night for hikers in the upper end of Section O, all of P and and all of Q. Feel free to take a zero with us; begin or end your hike around here; leave your car with us while you hike; etc.

My husband and I have been trail angels for some years now. As that time as gone by we have enjoyed all hikers but seem to attract more section hikers than thrus. But that being said, we also love to have thru hikers who want to take a zero. If you zero with us we see to it you get to stores of your choice and to/from the trail head of your choice. We help with laundry; you'll have a room and bath to yourself; and access to computers. We can house one to three hikers at a time.

I have only one request, please advise me as soon as you know, when you'll be needing our help. Exact dates aren't necessary but at least a broad range so we can hold a spot for you.
