Last year I opted to just show up to help make breakfast. It turned into a really fun experience. I think singing with Scout and Frodo was a great way to wake everyone up.. Sorry, I think I might have been a little off key! 
Anyhow Warner Springs Monty will put you to work.. Just ask him!
