Earlier today I talked to the owner of Nature's Inn motel in Big Bear City. He mentio ned that a big bicycle race is scheduled there around the weekend of May 22 / 23, and most motel rooms are already booked. He said he will still be able to put up hikers but perhaps not as many as usual. He still will accept hiker mail drops . Plan accordingly. Mango
