[pct-l] feet larger in desert?

In 2006 my feet grew about a full shoe size (10.5 -> 11.5). They
expanded pretty fast, my 10.5s were too small within a couple of
weeks. The expansion seemed to last the whole hike. Afterwards I think
my feet reduced in size a little, but I still have to wear 11s or 11.5s.
