To the people wanting to hike with a baby:
The most important experience in my life was when my parents took me in 1957 (I was 5 years old) on a road trip to see Yosemite and Kings Canyon National Park. Coming into Yosemite Valley from Wawona and seeing the view made famous by Ansel Adams was a pivotal point in my life--my career, my recreation and my spirituality was profoundly informed by the experience I had seeing that view and camping in the park. I'm sure the baby will absorb more than we know. Good luck to you!
