[pct-l] Reality check

Okay so today I was at Sam's club today (which is like a costco. I'm
not sure if they have those in all states.) getting things for the
trail. I grabbed three cases of ramen, mac and cheese, etc... People
around me were looking at me like "wow, look at this young bachelor.
He must be a student with no money and someone that has no clue how to
cook." Haha. Not true but it was funny. So I checked out and headed
for the exit. A salesman was standing next to the door. He took one
look at my shopping cart and said "Nice, everything you need." I
thought to myself, "Yes, yes it is. Everything I need. Nothing more."
It really put things into perspective. We only need the necessities.
Our society is obsessed with having so much more than we NEED.
That's all. It was a really cool thing that happened today and thought
you'd all like to hear about it.

Adam
