[pct-l] Waterproof paper for printing maps

I have read that to waterproof paper maps, coat them with Thompson's Waterseal.  But I have never tried this myself.

I will be interested in hearing how the maps work out on on the
waterproof paper.
I have done a little testing on this and paper can make a difference,
even with inkjet printers. I found maps printed on HP Bright White
Inkjet paper were somewhat more water resistant (less likely to run
and smear) than maps printed on cheaper paper. I would imagine laser
printing would be more water resistant than inkjet.
