The photo is of Gary and Steve Funk of the famous 1975 Funk Brothers PCT 
thruhike. They had snow from southern Sierra up to Mt Lassen area. Amazing 
trip, great photos. Gary usually makes it to the KO.

Last year at the KO, Monte Dodge found the 1970s PCT starting pont and the 
old blue shack on the far side of the wall, which are about 1 mile east of 
current point.

Based on the picture, these guys were going to use snowshoes through
somewhere, but where did they go and how did it all turn out?-Ned
