Good morning, Evan,
You said, “…I was looking for someone to tell me yes/no on the cascades.” If
anyone specifically answers that question I suggest you ignore them because
they can’t possibly appreciate you, your experience, or what weather the
next 4-6 months will bring. Does anyone else know how you define snow vs.
SNOW? It is necessary for all of us to assume personal responsibility by
gathering information and making individual decisions.
Last week I posted the URL for a useful NRCS site:
http://www.wcc.nrcs.usda.gov/cgibin/westsnow.pl that tracks snowpack in the
West over the years. I suggest using such information is more effective
than the opinion of – whomever – on an email list.
Enjoy your planning,
