[pct-l] flip-flop done in October

Hello all!
My hiking partner and I are starting our (slightly late) Canada-bound trek
from Cottonwood Pass this weekend.  We are considering returning to hike the
Mojave in October, thus completing a full thru-hike.
I know that October is one of the driest months in the Mojave - is it dry
enough to warrant waiting until November?  I assume other desert concerns
still apply in full force.
