[pct-l] Southbounders Starting

Hey I'm one of the southbounders meeting Emma and others at the trail head on Friday.  Looking forward to seeing some snow....Not!  Ah but I'm expecting it.

I talked to Emily Bedley yesterday she has been trying to hike the northernmost section of the trail. Heading south she said it is snow free to Castle Pass. Then at Hopkins Pass she had previously turned back due to deep snow and a steep sharp ridge of snow. That was about a week ago. She decided yesterday afternoon to have another attempt to get going so will likely meet up with the group of SOBOs who are starting as a group on thursday/friday along the way.

It was beautiful along the first 15 kilometers of trail yesterday.
