Hi All,

I am here in Ashland preparing for my SOBO and I thought I would send along some advise
on Ashland. Do stop in Ashland if you can. It's a very cool laid back town.

1) When you you go to the PO ask for Andy. He is the only guy there who knows how to send 
hiker boxes with fuel in them. He saved me a lot of time.

2) Get food at Shop & Kart. They have everything you need at the best prices. I went to every grocery in town and always ended up back here for what I needed. 

3) Between the two outfitters in town you should be ale to get whatever supplies you need.

4) Beer - Caldera brewery downtown. Great pizza place right next door too.

5) There are at least two hostels in town that are good. about $15/night
