Jeans?  Is he nuts?  My jeans weigh 2 pounds!  Furthermore, I have zero mobility in the things.  It's like hiking in a straight-jacket.  I hiked in jeans when I was in high school.  The first time I hiked in shorts, I thought, "Why didn't I make the switch sooner?!"
