[pct-l] MTR, hiker resupplies, and costs

Here's a picture of the MTR  (Muir Trail Ranch) Unimog at Florence Lake, 
loaded with supplies:

A friend was at MTR this weekend, and could not believe the amount of 
space and number of  resupply buckets she saw. Hundreds -- A warehouse full!

The MTR people said that if you mail the bucket using "Priority Mail", 
and if you don't show up to claim the package, they can mail it back 
with no additional cost.

One hiker had a relative send the bucket, and it was sent C.O.D.  So MTR 
collected the fee from the  hiker.
