The trail from Castle Crags to Etna is open according to a post I got from
Dave and Vicki Henderson yesterday.  Also, the educational place that
provided free camping  on their lawn has closed, so the only places for
campers is either the Hiker Hut and/or the lawn there and a nearby
campground with no showers.  I'm not familiar with the campground of which
they speak....
