[pct-l] thru hiking aussies and dubious posting success

Yup, thanks Craig, I am the Ian Fraser mentioned, aka Mr Mountaingoat. Good
news re Vegemite: It comes in handy travel tubes and can be imported to the
American wilderness without hassle! Thongs (not the underwear variety; what
Americans call flip-flops): tried them as camp shoes on the AT - very light
but lethal negotiating mud slicks near streams etc. I moved to Crocs and
finally nothing. Nothing is lighter.

Dig it, so young (a sprightly 45) and so much trail wisdom to share!
