[pct-l] a step closer

[Deep Desert Expeditions]

I've been planning a celebratory hike on the PCT this year: cause I ain't dead yet!

I had to undergo open heart surgery on Sept. 15, 2009--my goal is to finish the hike on the one year anniversary.
On friday the doc said I had his blessing to hike the PCT...one of the major obstacles to my going has been cleared!

Now we'll see how the planning and all goes...


BTW: does anyone know of anyone who made this trek under similar circumstances?
