You'll see highly variable weather in the lower stretches, anything from hot
to really cold.  In the higher stretches you'll have snow and ice to contend
with.  Some stretches (like Fuller Ridge on San Jacinto) may require
technical equipment to navigate safely depending on the amount of snow and
how icy it is.
