  Two things:

  1. The BearVault BV500 is 15% larger than the Garcia
  2. The BV450/500 are fully approved; the Yosemite web site is out of date.

  Correction.  The current Bear Vault models (450 and 500) are on the
  "Conditionally Allowed" list in Yosemite.
