Friends, Americans, and Fellow Hikers, I come before you to say...
Peek has a buy one Pronto, get one Pronto free, promo thru the Feb 15! I
ordered mine this morning, Fri, and will get a "free" one with it. I'm more
than willing to share the "free" one with another long distance hiker, so
call me asap to get a Peek Pronto for $40, a 33% discount (see below):
432-294-4307
CAVEATS:
1. The Pronto costs $60; I'll split that with you.
2. Both have to be shipped to the same address. Shipping is free to me, so
I'd ship the "free" one to you for $40, which includes my probable shipping
costs of about $10, Priority Mail, well packed, and insured for $100.
You'd need to put $60 into my PayPal account, or mail me a $60 money order
($40 unit & shipping + $20 (1st mo service-see below), before I'd ship.
3.. The 2 Prontos will be shipped to me with a $20 1st mo service charge,
for each, on my credit card. If service is not activated within 90 days,
the $20 is refunded to me. If no one wants the "free" one, I'll get my $20
1st mo fee back in 3 mo, and still have a new, unused Pronto.
4. Service is activated and paid after receipt of the unit. I'll activate
the lifetime service/lifetime insurance on mine (cost of a replacement
deductible, but the lifetime service transfers to the replacement Pronto);
service is NOT part of the promo, and has to be bought separately after receipt
of the unit.
5. You'll just have to trust me to return your $20 if you go to a plan that
costs you more than $20; for some reason, they refund the $20 rather than
apply it to another plan. The quarterly plan is $50, the annual $180, and
the lifetime $250. (My current email device, a Pocketmail, will cost me
$105/summer, each of the next 3 years, so, I'm going to try a Peek Pronto; at
the end of the 3rd summer I break even on my expenses.)
6. Be sure to give me an email address, so I can email you proof of my
purchase before you send me $.
7. That's best as I kin 'splain it. Call me; don't clutter up the mailing
lists.
