have you done your permits for the JMT yet? im a little confused on  
them. on one hand ive read that all you need is a permit from the  
trailhead that you start at and it will carry over for the rest of  
the trail and on another hand ive read that you need to get permits  
for each wilderness area you will be going through.
can you help me out with an answer to this riddle?
