[pct-l] Fit for a thru-hike?--and the tide

apparently I don't know how to close the parentheses--oops.
and I forgot to mention this will be a fundraiser assuming I find a way to fund myself!  But the motorcycle is being given up, and so is........???? (don't know yet)  I'M GOING TO FIND A WAY!!!
