I have the Droid X not as expensive and from what I understand you can't
insure the iphone so if u lose it or break it u have to replace it at full
price. My droid is through verizon and I pay like 6 bucks per month for
insurance but it will cost me $50 to replace not the $500 it retails for.
As far as apps well iphone has more but I yet to find something the iphone
can do that my droid cant.. except face time my droid can't do that . check
out an app called run keeper it will track your progress and speed and show
u on a map where you were and where u are. As far as a journal the droid has
an office app which include word. Just my opinion I don't work for verizon
or droid just my preference and what I plan on doing on my section hike this
summer. From what I have read you should have a cell signal in about 70% of
the trail but u should have gps signal about 90%!
All spelling mistakes brought to you by my Droid X.
