I believe he means half a day on the metro buss system, with the city busses
it does take like 4.5 hours

Brandon,

San Diego to Campo doesn't take half a day - much less. I was lucky to be
driven by Scout this year, and we were hiking by about 9, I think, even after
the obligatory pics.

I hear the transportation from San Diego to Campo takes half of the day or more
putting you at the trail head pretty late in the day. Does anyone have any
suggestions? Is there camping or a motel close to the trail head Making it easy
for me to get a fresh start early in the morning? Thanks in advance.
