Though Firefly (Georgi) is the woman in the know, but I can advise that to compare the Hat Creek Rim with Lassen National Park will not be an accurate comparison. The Park, more specifically Manzanita Lake, is 5850' getting snow; Burney, though a bit lower than the Rim, is 4343' and getting rain; and, Mineral 4812' is raining.
