A huge second on the kudos . . . awesome event, location, and purpose.  As
it is with hiking the trail, the best part is being with your trail family.

Had a great time this past week at the event in Cascade Locks (Thunder
Island rocks!). Fund raising for the PCTA more than doubled over last year
with over $3000 being taken in. Trail angel legends were well represented
with L-Rod, Firefly and Jerry Dinsmore showing up. Members of the Class of
'10 were also present with some getting rides back and ahead from various
points on trail. Also, a good turn out of thru-hiker alums.   Nabor J, once
again, did an excellent job of organizing the event.
