Subject: [pct-l] Permits and bear regulations, Mt. Thielsen to Mt. Hood
Hi folks,
I've been calling around but struggling to get answers, so decided to
call on the collective wisdom here.
I'm leaving in a couple of weeks to hike 250 miles of the PCT, from
Mt. Thielsen to Mt. Hood - including Diamond Peak, Three Sisters, Mt.
Wash and Mt. Jeff. Does anyone know if:
-I need to get a wilderness permit?
-I need to carry a bear canister and/or be prepared to tie up my food?
Thanks for any help you can offer!
Jay
