How about forgetting all the 'LEGAL' excrement?
How about worrying/doing what is morally or ethically 'right' instead?

To paraphrase an old saying often much overused on the pct-l in the past:
"You're beating a dead bear" on this topic...
It also is beginning to sound like you have a direct affiliation with Ursack
(whoops, sorry I used a 'brand' name - but Ursack is the only soft-sided
container to have claimed to be bear proof, which it then had change to bear
"resistant")...  :-o
