[pct-l] Conditions - easy or dire?

Been raining all day at the border. A hiker just hiked in with hypothermia. Another was rescued and attended by paramedics. The mountains are getting slammed with a foot of snow.  

What does mean to you? Well what do YOU think it means? Are you prepared? Some are enjoying the challenge of ice and snow. Others are scared. Others are being cautious and waiting it out or going around. 

If you are comfortable with snow and bad weather great. If you are not, don't think its easy because someone else did. Know YOUR limits and be careful. 

Oh, yes, you do need rain gear in So Cal.
