[pct-l] Using the Ursack without the aluminum

The Ursack works fine without the aluminum insert. Perfectly functional, especially when combined with an OPSAK odar bag.

However, the Ursack WITH the insert no longer complies with regulations regarding bear canisters in the Sierra. This is an important distinction, as at one time it was legal. But that rule has since been changed, and you will need to carry an approved bear canister or use a bear locker. 

The use of a bear locker will restrict where you are able to camp, as they are relatively few and far between. 

I did get a chance to meet a very ticked off hiker last year who was ticketed in north Yosemite for failing to have an approved canister.
